1 Timothy 6:12 "Fight the good fight of the faith. Take hold of the eternal life to which you were called and about which you made the good confession in the presence of many witnesses."

Dealing With Financial Challenges

So you've been looking for ways to make some extra cash and haven't yet decided what it is you want to do. With the economy the way it is and folks feeling the pinch in every pocket, we could all use some extra streams or means of income.

There are many easy low to no cost, interesting ideas and things that you can do to bring in some extra income without getting a second job. Whether you are internet savy or not you can make money.

One super way of making money is being creative and offering a talent that you have. You may not get rich quick but every little bit helps.

First you'll need to make a list of things that you like to do and/or talents that you have. Then starting with the most feasible thing, ask yourself which of these would most benefit someone else. If you do have things on your list that will benefit others, decide who you can market these to. It would be a good idea to maybe start with friends and family. An example would be if you liked to sew or knit, you could make quilts and blankets for babies. You could make small hand purses and decorate them. If you are really good you could make outfits for children. (this uses less fabric than adults and will bring a bigger profit).

Another idea would be if you enjoy reading, you could tutor small children or assist them with homework. This would be especially helpful when parents don't have time to help their children with their school work.

After you compiled your list of ideas and things that you like to do. Master one or two things at one time, and then market them.

Once you've gotten this down packed, you can watch the money pour in.

Don't let the challenges of the economy push you over the edge
